The simplest rule is headcount. Our MPVs and vans carry 6–12 passengers, while our minibuses carry 16–19. If your group is 12 or fewer and travelling light, a van is usually the tidier choice. It is easier to park at hotels and homes, and it does not leave rows of empty seats.
Move up to a minibus when your group is over 12, when numbers might grow before the trip, or when a group near the top of the van range is also carrying a lot of luggage.
